Community Standards and Safety

Effective and last updated: July 15, 2026

Taam is designed for trusted household collaboration. These standards apply to shopping chat, shared images, recipes, lists, menus, and other content that users share through Taam.

Treat household members respectfully

Do not use Taam to threaten, harass, bully, intimidate, shame, stalk, or target another person. Do not promote hatred or dehumanization based on protected characteristics, encourage self-harm, or glorify serious violence.

Content that is not allowed

Automatic safety checks

Taam may automatically screen user-to-user household chat text and images before posting. A safety check can make mistakes and does not replace user reports or household supervision. Content may be refused, removed, or retained for review where necessary to protect users and operate the service.

Report a message, member, or AI response

In shopping chat, open the menu on a message and choose Report message or Report member. A reported AI response can be reported from the Taam AI conversation. Reports are sent to the Taam administrator for review. Reporting does not automatically remove a person from your household.

Block or remove access

Use Block member in shopping chat to hide that member's chat messages and stop direct conversations. Manage blocked members in Settings. A household owner or administrator may separately remove a member from the household or change permissions.

Enforcement and urgent situations

Makor Labs may remove content or restrict accounts when reasonably necessary to address abuse, safety risks, legal obligations, or violations of these standards or the Terms of Service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services; do not rely on an in-app report for emergency help.
